Ruan landed on Aussie shores in 2005 and quickly forged a career within the finance industry, climbing into Australia’s Top 100 Brokers in the first two years of business.
During his career as a mortgage broker, Ruan built two successful mortgage broking businesses — one in regional, Gladstone, and the second in metropolitan, Brisbane. Both businesses attracted numerous accolades and awards along the way; developing businesses that are visionary and adaptable are his trademark.
Ruan is father to Kyan and Minka, and husband to Kylie. He loves to play golf and spend quality time with his family at their acreage or beachside property — and not always in that order he he he!
His all-time favourite movie is Armageddon — he goes to mush when Aerosmith starts singing, ‘I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’ as Liv Tyler says goodbye to Ben Affleck (he’s a big softie inside!), but Shawshank Redemption comes a close second —the intelligence inspires him. Favourite song is ‘Always Remember Me This Way’ from A Star Is Born Soundtrack.

KYLIE BURGER
Australian born, Kylie, met Ruan during her three and a half year teaching stint in ye old London town, and has never looked back. He ticked every box — tall, dark and handsome…and not to mention extremely loyal, driven, giving, and loving. Marrying in South Africa, they returned to Kylie’s hometown of Gladstone to start building their life together.
Kylie is the yin to Ruan’s yang, the white to his black, the tequila to his olive. During the early days of their first business, Kylie would act as secretary after her teaching day had ended, and as their business grew so did her role as Culture Manager, and Fire-Put-Er-Out-Er-A.
Giving birth to Kyan and Minka fulfilled her dream of becoming a mum and to date is her greatest role. Family is her everything. Being happy is her everything. If she is not at home with her family she will be brunching with friends in the a.m. or drinking cocktails and chasing a cheeky tequila shot in the p.m.
This sneaker-loving, lover of fashion and words, enjoys reading books penned by Cecilia Ahern, JoJo Moyes, and Josephine Moon (just to name a few), and is obsessed with Schitt’s Creek. One of her favourite songs is also from the A Star is Born soundtrack, ‘Shallow’.

Denise brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, having worked in management and lending within CBA for over 20 years. During that time Denise has won three national awards (Sales Support, Business Administration, Teamwork) and several state awards.
For Success and Broker, Denise assists new and existing clients with process mapping, process wastage, SOPs (standard operating procedures), training and development.
Denise loves to travel, drink Rosè, walk her dogs and go to the gym. She is also a step mum to 8 kids and step Nan to 5 grandchildren.
